Why not use sugar cube to create modular type? Each sugar sube letter is glued together with corn syrup (making the letter entirely edible), and then given a bath in hot coffee. Time-lapsed photos were then taken to show the sugar as it dissolves into the pan. Following the daily routine of Tammy, we find that the developed world consumes close to 500 liters per day. If the aim is to elevate under-developed countries closer to a level found in N. America or Europe we will put undue strain on an already burdened water supply. Instead we must adjust usage by developed nations to a more sustainable figure. Done in collaboration with designers, Brian Pelsoh, Javier Lopez, and Young Sun Compton.
